Janice McNab

Janice McNab joined the MAR in 2015, as head of dept. Prior to that she was a final year thesis supervisor at The Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam and Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam; and a studio tutor at The Royal Academy. She has worked in art education since receiving her MFA from Glasgow School of Art in 1997, and has a special interest in how the materialising practices of artistic research can offer unpredictable new ways to process our experience of and our meeting with the world.
Janice is specialised as a painter, and has exhibited her work widely. She is currently a PhD researcher at the University of Amsterdam.
