Jasper Coppes is an artist, writer and film-maker based in Amsterdam. He is a core tutor for theory and writing at the
Jasper’s practice unfolds around the transformation of spaces and in artists film projects. This work is rooted in active field research, and explores the material and immaterial conditions that shape our environment.
Jasper graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2008 and was a fellow at the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht in 2010 and 2011. He also holds an MLitt in Fine Art Practice from Glasgow School of Art.
