Bauhaus pop-up installation and parade in collaboration with Museum Boijmans

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the revolutionary art and design school Bauhaus, the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen presents the exhibition ‘netherlands ⇄ bauhaus – pioneers of a new world’ from 9 February to 26 May 2019.

Students of the Interior Architecture & Furniture Design department have collaborated with Boijmans in creating an interactive, stand-alone installation and a parade in line with this retrospective.

The pop-up installation will be presented at various locations in Rotterdam, including the Centrale Bibliotheek between 13-25 March and the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam from 26 March to 25 April 2019.

The research and the design process for the pop-up installation will be on view in Zaal G at the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen during the exhibition ‘netherlands ⇄ bauhaus – pioneers of a new world’.
