Merel Boers (that is Frau Dr. Boers to you) has a background in history, argumentation theory, journalism, public speaking… Argumentation, in text and image, is her daily bread. Every now and then she climbs the stage to sing the blues. Or to tell stories with weird pictures.

This Frau Dr. likes her sherry bone dry and her risotto all’onda, please. She collects historical cookbooks and is still mourning Iain M. Banks. She is fond of the Northern coastline, where the land moves into the sea almost imperceptibly.

At the ArtScience and Graphic Design departments, Merel is a thesis coach. She also loves to initiate students in the noble art of public speaking/performance.
