Federico Campagna

Federico Campagna is an Italian philosopher based in London. His research combines metaphysics, theology and cultural studies, with the aim of exploring fundamental strategies for emancipation in the 21st century.

His latest books are Technic and Magic: the reconstruction of reality (Bloomsbury, 2018), Quarant'Anni Contro il Lavoro (with Franco Berardi 'Bifo'; Derive Approdi, 2017), and The Last Night: antiwork, atheism adventure (Zero Books 2013). His next book, Prophecy: the memory of having forgotten, is forthcoming with Bloomsbury on 2021.

Federico Campagna works as a visiting lecturer and tutor at the Royal College of Art (London), Goldsmiths College (London), and KABK (The Hague). He is also the Director of Rights at the radical publisher Verso Books. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Royal College of Art, with a thesis on Metaphysics and Metaethics in the Design of Strategy Videogames for which he’s been awarded a LDoc scholarship.
