Edwin Jakobs has an MSc. in Computer Science from Technical University in Delft and a BA in Visual Arts from Willem de Kooning Academy. Before becoming a partner in RNDR he was the lead software engineer at LUSTlab. He also was a programmer at Treparel, where he was in charge of visualisation and automatic classification of patent documents. He is fluent in Java, C++, C, Python, Javascript, etc., in the fields of Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, SOLR, Cassandra, OpenGL, OpenNI, Microsoft Kinect SDK. He is the main developer of the OPENRNDR framework application.
