Charles Rouleau

Artist

Charles Rouleau is the coordinator of Casino Display - Space for Artistic Research, the research-oriented satellite of Casino Luxembourg. There he oversees artist residencies, he has instigated an Artistic Research Lab which dedicated to collective thinking and creation, and is responsible for the editorial direction of the Casino Display’s publications. Relying on the logic of experimentation and collaboration, he aims at shaping Casino Display as a transdisciplinary meeting point. He has been a guest speaker at the University of Amsterdam, at ASCA's Artistic Research Research Group, at École Offshore and at ÉSAL Metz.

Charles Rouleau also has a sound art practice and is a PhD candidate at the University of Amsterdam for an artistic research project titled “Littorals as ecocritical sound milieus: ecomusicological field recording-based artistic research in transitional space”.
