ArtScience alums present cud 2026

From 24 October to 22 November 2026, Quartair Contemporary Art Initiatives hosts cud 2026, a five-week exhibition series initiated by ArtScience alums Ossip Blits (2025), Omer van Soldt (2025) and Ruben Dijkstal (2025), in which five artists successively transform the same 32 doors.

Each artist has five days to create a new work, which is shown over the weekend before the next artist takes over. Rather than starting with an empty space, each artist inherits whatever the previous one left behind, responding to it, transforming it and leaving something new for the artist who follows.

The 32 doors are the one constant throughout the series. They carry traces of previous lives while offering an open set of associations and possibilities. What begins as a fixed material becomes a meeting point between five different artistic practices, disciplines and ways of thinking.
