Myriam Lefkowitz

French artist and choreographer Myriam Lefkowitz is based in Paris. Her practice is concentrated around questions of attention and perception, and the creation of immersive environments that require a direct relationship between spectator and artist.

In 2018 she began working on a commission for ‘If I Can't Dance I Don't Want To Be Part Of Your Revolution’, Amsterdam. At the same time, she began a film collaboration with Simon Ripoll-Hurier around the practice of remote viewing. Since 2017 She has been working on La Piscine (Swimming Pool), a collaborative project that brings together practices of attention born from the research of eight artists, infiltrating and sharing public spaces. La Piscine was been invited to intervene at the Laboratoires d'Aubervilliers; Survival Kit in Riga; Bergen Assembly; Kaaiteater in Brussels, and the Garage, Moscow.

Lefkowitz regularly performs her work throughout Europe, and was part of the 55th Venice Biennale (Lithuanian and Cypriot Pavilions).
