Jeremiah Day is an American artist based in Berlin. Originally from Los Angeles, Jeremiah came to Amsterdam as a resident at the Rijsakademie van Beeldende Kunst (2003-2004). More recently he completed a residency at Platform Garanti, Istanbul (2008-2009).
Recent projects include Giles Bailey & Jeremiah Day, CCA Glasgow (2015), The Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness, Arratia Beer, Berlin (2015), If You Want Blood, Arcade, London (2013), and Of All Possible Things, Site Gallery, Sheffield (2012).
He participated in the 5th Thessaloniki Biennial in 2015 and the 9th Shanghai Biennial in 2012, and Heartland, Van Abbe Museum, 2008.
In 2016 Jeremiah received his doctorate in Artistic Research from the Vrij Universiteit, Amsterdam with the presentation of ‘A Kind of Imagination that has Nothing to Do with Fiction: Art in Public Life.’
