In her teaching and design practice, one question is central: design is about telling a story — which story do you want to tell, and what is its intrinsic source? Design begins with the body; through your senses, you perceive the world. This forms the first entry point to communicate with your environment (sensory thinking) — with yourself, with humans, and non-humans — and to translate this into meaningful spatial and visual designs. It is not only about what you make, but especially how you make it together; that is what resonates in the final work.
To keep her vision sharp, she begins each day with a meditative walk and qi-gong exercises, approaching the day consciously and with an open mind.
