Algemene toelatingseisen

  • Je bent in ieder geval in het bezit van een HAVO, VWO of MBO4 diploma of een gelijkwaardig buitenlands diploma. Voor alle masterprogramma’s die de academie aanbiedt, geldt de voorwaarde dat je al in het bezit bent van een bachelordiploma in de discipline van jouw keuze.

  • Niveau van het Engels: IELTS 6, TOEFL 80 (online test), of TOEFL 550 (papieren test).
    Niet-EU-kandidaten worden gevraagd om aanvullend bewijs van hun Engelse taalvaardigheid.
    De taalvaardigheid van EU-kandidaten wordt beoordeeld tijdens de toelatingsgesprekken.

Specifieke toelatingseisen

As part of the admission and selection procedure for the Bachelor Textile and Fashion programme, you’ll be asked to provide examples of earlier work and explain your motivation to study at the Textile and Fashion department of the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague.

Advice on your application materials:

Your portfolio should include (pictures of) your work, sketches, material experiment, etc. We prefer to see work you did not make as a school assignment, but as an expression of your own fascination and creativity.

In your letter of motivation, you’ll describe your interests and passion for textile, fashion and art. We would like to get a clear idea of your passion and ambition for this field.

Application deadlines

We encourage students to submit their application as soon as possible.
The final deadlines for application submissions to the Bachelor Textile & Fashion at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK) for the academic year 2019-2020 are as follows:

Non-EU/EEA candidates: 6 March 2019
Non-EU/EEA candidates who require a VISA must have their full set of required documents and portfolio submitted before 6 March 2019.

EU/EEA candidates: 29 May 2019
EU/EEA candidates must have their full set of required documents and portfolio submitted before 29 May 2019.
