About Exhibition Research Lab
The course provides space for individual and peer-learning, research and practical experimentation to understand how to position one’s practice within a broader context of showing work and research, and how to engage with the public. How can we understand exhibition-making as a space for creative, social, deeply individual and collective expression? How do various roles and agencies, for example the curator, relate to notions of creative autonomy? Why do artists and designers make exhibitions at all?
