Studielink is the common registration and enrolment application system for all non-private institutions of higher education in the Netherlands. 

  • Create a Studielink account: provide personal details (as stated in your passport or ID card) and previous educational information (studies, diplomas and exam results). 

    Official residents of the Netherlands have to use their DigiD to login to Studielink.
    International students create an account with their own username and password.
  • Once your account is created you can ‘add a new enrolment’ by indicating the study programme of your choice under the ‘University of Applied Sciences – Royal Academy/Royal Conservatoire The Hague’. Follow carefully the steps and at the end confirm your application.  Detailed instructions are provided on the website of Studielink to assist you with the procedure.

After your enrolment via Studielink is confirmed, you will receive an e-mail by the Student Administration of the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague. In this e-mail, you’ll find your personal login info, which will grand you access to the Academy’s own online application system Osiris, where you can upload your portfolio and other required documents: 

  • portfolio
  • research proposal
  • letter of motivation and 
  • curriculum vitae 

The deadline for uploading the above documents is preferably before April 10, 2018, but no later than May 1, 2018. More information and tips can found under the admission requirements page.

As of April 12, 2018, we’ll inform you if you are selected for the interview held on May 9, 2018.

If you are among the selected candidates, you will be invited for an interview with members of the admission committee at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK). 

This interview is the conclusion of your admission, and serves several goals. We like to get to know you better. It is very important that you are convinced about your choice for the Master Photography & Society at the KABK. This is why we highly value your visit here and strongly advise against a Skype interview. The later will be accepted in exceptional situations only. 

All interviews, supported with a program to foster your (first) encounter with the the Master Photography & Society, will be held on Wednesday May 9, 2018, between 09:00 and 20:00. 

Your official enrolment at the Master Photography & Society programme is completed upon payment of the tuition fees

Once you are officially registered as a student at the KABK, you will receive your student card and a proof of enrolment.
