18.00-18.30 - Lecture
'Fight for Survival after Graduation'

In my Studium Generale Session, I will introduce myself with a short presentation about my Graduation Work and my artistic vision. I will then talk about, the Sensory Threshold LAB, a platform for interdisciplinary exchange through art, which I am co-curating together with my sister Katherina Heil. Here I will focus on the LAB of 2021, in the context of the Pandemic.

Lastly, I will tell the story of how the Home Gallery came into existence, emerging from the last lockdown in winter 2021. The Home Gallery is a project space for artistic experimentation at my apartment in The Hague.

18.30-18.45 - Workshop

Focusing on my work at the Home Gallery, I will dive deeper into my mentality of art and exhibition making. Namely, using what is at hand, saving money and resources.

18.45-19.45 - Exercise

Based on the elaborations of the introduction, the students are invited to produce a pop up exhibition, in which they:

1. Take upon the artistic approach of a study colleague.
2. Use material and objects at hand.

20.00-20.30 - Presentation
Opening pop up exhibition: Home Gallery at KABK

We welcome everyone to a celebratory opening of the pop up exhibition produced by the students.

There will be drinks and snacks.

Stephane and Alexander will walk around and talk with the Studium Generale students about their works and experiences while taking upon the perspective of their fellow study colleagues.
