Digital Media

The Digital Media Workshop is the KABK’s home of audio-visual design, giving students the opportunity to explore the many exciting facets of designing using image and sound. Students can learn audio, camera and software techniques as well as production methods and are encouraged to apply their skills in new and exciting ways.

The Digital Media Workshop has five small, professionally equipped editing rooms that allow students to edit and create digital projects without interruption. The workshop also has a large editing room with an adjacent sound booth, green/blue screens and recently-acquired tools including a mixer, colour corrector, computers, beamers, etc.

Students have access to a large range of software and audio-visual equipment. We have also made it possible for students to check their renders and/or upload and download files from home or elsewhere in the academy. Our staff, working professionals in the field, is always available to help with any questions you may have.
