Alper Turan is a curator and researcher based in Istanbul and Berlin. His&her current research and curatorial practice focusses on queer strategies, methodologies and languages. These include, but are not limited to, abstraction, collective speculation, appropriation, and anonymity. She is a Ph.D. candidate at the College of Fine Arts in Hamburg (HfbK), and works as assistant curator at Protocinema, New York.
