Fine Arts graduates in Fresh Cacao 2024-2025
De Cacaofabriek presents a new generation of talents, who graduated from various Dutch academies in the summer of 2024 in 'Fresh Cacao 2024-2025'. Three
The exhibition will officially open on Sunday 23 February. From 24 February to 23 March 2025, the work of the young artists can be seen. De Cacaofabriek is a space for young makers, amongst others. Therefore, the Fresh Cacao exhibition is a permanent part of the exhibition programme. For this exhibition, final exam candidates from various art academies are scouted and invited to exhibit their work in the monumental spaces of De Cacaofabriek.
On Sunday 23 March there will be a special finissage of Fresh Cacao: one of the graduates will receive the Carat Lucas Gassel Prize.

Carat Lucas Gassel Prize #7
To reinforce the encouragement of young talent, the Carat Lucas Gassel Prize will be awarded to one of the Fresh Cacao promises for the seventh time on Sunday 23 March. This prize was created by the Carat Foundation to offer financial support to young creative talent. The jury that will select the winner this year consists of: Esther Didden, Editor-in-Chief of BK information and researcher of Art in Public Space, Haiko Sleumer, art historian and curator of contemporary art at Museum W in Weert, Fabienne Swinkels as representative of the Carat Foundation.
