Admission requirements
As part of the admission and selection procedure for the Master ArtScience programme we ask you to demonstrate your artistic talent, intellectual curiosity and affinity with one or more artistic disciplines. You’ll be asked to show examples of earlier work and explain your motivation to study at the ArtScience Interfaculty.
In order to apply, you must first register in Studielink (Dutch national database for admission to higher education) and then gain access to our online application system OSIRIS where you will be asked to submit a link of your Dropbox folder with requested documents including a portfolio.

General Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
Non-EU/EEA candidates are required to provide proof of English Language proficiency.
EU/EEA candidates' English language level will be assessed during their admission interview.
Portfolio requirements
We ask you to prepare a Dropbox folder with all application materials.
Make sure that anyone with the link as access to the folder, we explicitly don’t want you to share the folder with us. Check that you have all the required documents ready in the Dropbox folder and copy paste the link in the specific field in our application system.
You’ll be requested to include the following materials:
- Portfolio (max. 20 pages, max. 10 recent important works)
- Letter of motivation (max. 350 words)
- Resume (curriculum vitae, max. 1 A4)
- Assignment (max. 2 A4)

Application and portfolio deadline
The final deadline for submitting your application is 1 March.
Applications received between 1 March and 1 May will only be considered if a spot becomes available.
Please note: Application & admission for this study programme is handled by the Royal Conservatoire.
