EXPOSED / the Textile Show 2025
You are cordially invited in Paradise on Thursday 25 September for the festive opening of EXPOSED / the Textile Show, the annual presentation of the Textile & Fashion department of the KABK.
The Textile show features the first investigative steps of our first-year students and will lead you through all study years to finally highlight the very personal collections of our graduating students, Timour – Aloïs Bonin, Laura Garnier, Bas Pol and Neele Verhees. Investigating their fascinations, they present their take on societal issues and applying their research and skills creating very personal and diverse projects.
Last June a professional jury awarded this year’s 'Keep an Eye Textile & Fashion Scholarship' to Bas Pol and Asira Wiegers, their work will also be on display during the Textile show.
The exhibition takes place in ‘Paradise'. West The Hague and the KABK have teamed up to create Paradise, a place with the goal of providing a platform for talent. You can find Paradise in a historic building along The Hague's canals between the city center and the Schilderswijk and a stone's throw from Hollands Spoor station.
The work of our students will be on display for four days and it is part of Hoogtij on Friday 26 September.
Keep an Eye Foundation
The Keep an Eye Foundation has been our partner for 10 years already, not only powering Exposed but also initiating a scholarship for emerging young talents boosting their talent and development into the professional field of Textile and Fashion after the academy.
