Anna Abrahams is senior programmer artist film and artistic XR for Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam and teaches Moving Image at the Royal Academy of the Arts in The Hague, department of Photography (BA and MA). She studied film theory at the University of Amsterdam. Abrahams is one of the filmmakers of the independent production foundation Rongwrong, which she founded with filmmaker Jan Frederik Groot in 1989. In 2022 she directed the VR work 'Angels of Amsterdam' with Avinash Changa. She is(co)author of the books ‘Warhol Films’, ‘Oh, this is Fabulous’, ‘mm2. Experimental Film in the Netherlands’ and ‘film³ [kyü-bik film]’).
