They Are Watching Us with INSIDE alum Andela Zora Brnas
You are invited to the exhibition of the residency project by amongst others INSIDE alum Andela Zora Brnas. The project, entitled Embodying the Willow Ecosystem takes place at Mediamatic in Amsterdam on Friday 25 September.
The event is free, but a ticket reservation is mandatory.
Embodying the Willow Ecosystem is a woven spatial installation, performance and collective weaving experience guided by the local wisdom of Dutch willow trees. The project tells stories of how species, habitats, crafts, design and seasons are deeply entangled and speculates on possible human caring roles within the willow ecosystem.
After the event, the installation will serve as offerings for the local multispecies community of Mediamatic and hopefully be inhabited by them. Join us to weave a collective structure, connecting with the surrounding ecosystem and embodying interspecies care through the art of living craft.
