Janine Huizenga studied Photography, Audiovisual and Theatre Design at the Rietveld Academie. She also works for Waag Society as concept developer/designer, and where she was creative director from 1996-2008. Janine has significant experience in education, for instance at Willem de Kooning Academie, HKU, Rietveld Academy and TU Eindhoven. Janine held the position of chair of the E-culture committee at the Creative Industries Fund from 2013 - 2016.
