The Haagsche Schouw contains all kinds of people from the top of, for example, the Dutch business community, but also professionals from sectors such as healthcare, culture, science and politics. They can't be found online and that gives you a bit of a mysterious feeling. The fact that they are nowhere to be found is mainly because they do not want to come to the fore. They make an exception for the KABK. The final exhibition will take place in the galleries of the KABK on June 10, from 15.00 - 18.00 for members of the Haagsche Schouw, but will be open to the public from 18.00 onwards. Entrance is free.

In harmony
“I am very happy with that,” says Janine. “The combination of young designers at the start of their training, in combination with I/M/D alums and professionals from all kinds of sectors, has yielded interesting perspectives and conversations about the theme 'Local-Global'. I think it's fantastic that it is still possible to share this with the general public." Within the theme they worked in groups on topics such as safety, health care and the public. For each topic, it was discussed how local and global can be brought together and how they remain in harmony on a social, economic, political and cultural level.

Janine: “I can't wait for the students to show what they have made and what the members of the Haagsche Schouw think about it.” Depending on the subject and the outcome of the project, this can be an installation, performance, interactive object or a graphic expression.

Where: Gallery 1, 2 and 3 at the KABK. When you enter at the entrance at Prinsessegracht 4, these galleries are directly opposite.
