Fenna graduated from the KABK (Textile, specialization Monumental Design) in the 1980s and has built up an impressive career in higher education ever since.

She has gained extensive managerial experience in various study programmes, including Architecture at the University of Applied Sciences in The Hague. In addition, she has always combined her duties as a manager with teaching tasks, in order to be able to relate and keep in touch with students' and teachers' experiences and perspectives.

'My motivation stems from my wish to contribute to a person's personal and professional development, student or colleague, and the development of a quality-oriented educational organization with a strong connection to professional practice. As an alumna of the KABK, this function feels like coming home, knowing that although the house has been completely renewed, it will never be finished.
