Anke has been the artistic director of TENT since late 2016, and has led the institute in new and exciting directions. Before that, she was curator contemporary art and photography at the Tropenmuseum in Amsterdam (2011-2016), and on the curatorial team of fka Witte de With in Rotterdam (1993-98). She has been involved in art education as course director of the MA Fine Art at the Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam (1998-2007), advisor to DAS Theatre in Amsterdam (2008-18), and supervisor within the Norwegian artist research programme.
