KABK Studium Generale poster series by alumna Graphic Design Dayna Casey

The theme Transmission Lexicon of the KABK Studium Generalelecture series 2017-201 was about investigating the broad terrain of communication, not only in how we convey something but also in the ‘what’, with all of its misunderstandings and limitations.

Alumna Graphic Design Dayna Casey interpreted this theme into a series of posters and a publication by creating a graphic design experiment on 'the viewers subconscious and associative interpretation'.

Experimenting with arbitrary interpretation by subtitling intuitive imagery; we associate our own truth.

Dayna collected and used an extensive image database to convey the vast spectrum of perspectives of communication, post-truth and interpretation. For each lecture she created an A2 print in an edition of 25.
