Designer and alumnus Industrial Design Bas Froon and fashion designer Karin Vlug have joined forces under the collaborative project 'Smart Fashion Production', which received WEAR Sustain funding allowing them to further develop their proposed prototype. 

For the next 6 months they will extend the micro moulding machine into a digital garment manufacturing technique to create garments without sewing. Their collaborative proposal addressed the call for ethical and sustainable wearable technology, smart or electronic textile innovation.
