The Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK) is part of the University of the Arts The Hague, and qualified by the Dutch Tax Department as ‘institution allocating to the general good’ (in Dutch: ‘algemeen nut beogende instelling’ - ANBI). Thanks to this ANBI-status fiscal and financial advantages are available to gift tax on inheritances or gifts, to corporation tax and income tax. For example natural and legal persons making donations to the Royal Academy may deduct their gifts from their Dutch income tax or corporate income tax.
