Human Rights Tulip 2016

Graphic Design students honoured the three nominees of the Human Rights Tulip 2016 award by means of short films, which they presented during the official ceremony on the International Human Rights day (10 December), at the Nutshuis in The Hague.

The three candidates for the Human Rights Tulip were: Nguyen Quang A from Vietnam, Nighat Dad from Pakistan and El Nadim Centre from Egypt.

The 2016 Human Rights Tulip has been awarded to the Pakistani internet activist Nighat Dad. Minister Lilianne Ploumen presented her with the prize on Saturday 10 December, Human Rights Day, in The Hague.
