Janne Schipper wins Royal Award for Modern Painting 2020

Janne Schipper who graduated at the Fine Arts department of the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague in 2018 is one of the three winners of the Royal Award for Modern Painting 2020. His Majesty King Willem-Alexander announced the winners during the ceremony award on Thursday 8 October 2020 in the Royal Palace Amsterdam.

Exhibition

The exhibition with works by the winners and all fifteen nominees is open to the public from 10 October until 31 December 2020 in the Royal Palace in Amsterdam. Among the nominations for this year's award and part of this exhibition are the works by Fine Arts alumnae Rinella Alfonso (Fine Arts 2019) and Leonie Schneider (Fine Arts 2018).
