Note that:

  • For the online portfolio advice session, you must submit your portfolio in advance. If you want to book an appointment, make sure you have your portfolio ready.
  • You cannot use WeTransfer to share your portfolio. Send your portfolio as an attachment or use another system such as Dropbox or Google Drive.
  • These advice sessions are not part of the application procedure and they do not guarantee a place in the specific study programme. A portfolio review is still part of the selection and admission procedure which determines which candidates will be offered a place in the study programme. To prepare well, we recommend you take a look at these portfolio tips. It will give you insight into the process of portfolio creation and can help you sharpen your questions.

Frequently asked questions

During a one-on-one meeting you will receive advice for improving your portfolio before you submit it to be considered for admission. To be eligible for an online portfolio advice session, you need to have already started creating a portfolio. The portfolio advice sessions are not part of the admissions procedure.

Yes, registration is required. Register through the button above. Due to the limited number of time slots, we encourage you to make your appointment as soon as possible.

You can cancel your time slot via the link in the email confirmation you have received or by sending an email to communication@kabk.nl.

If you are not able to attend your online portfolio advice session, we kindly ask you to cancel your time slot in time (at least 48 hours in advance to the session). That way, this place becomes available for someone else.

You will receive all information and instructions in the confirmation email.
A reminder email will also be sent before your online portfolio advice session takes place.

The portfolio advice sessions take place online in Microsoft Teams (download Microsoft Teams here). Click on the Teams link to join the online meeting included in the confirmation email on the day and time slot you have chosen.

When you click the link for a session, a new window will open in your browser or (if installed) Teams. Accessing the platform via a browser is possible, but the experience may be different. For the most optimal user experience, we recommend using a desktop or laptop (instead of a phone or tablet).

Wait to be admitted to the session from the lobby and then your online portfolio advise session can begin. Good luck!

You will receive a confirmation email with instructions as soon as you book your time slot. If you have not received anything, please send an email to communication@kabk.nl.

Yes, you need to submit your portfolio in advance, as instructed in the confirmation email.

Be sure to send it by the deadline provided in the confirmation email you received. If you are not planning to send a portfolio please cancel the appointment, so that someone else can make use of the time slot.
