Tatjana Macić is a visual artist, writer, and researcher. In her artistic practice, she is mostly exploring the intersection between visual arts, theory, exhibition-making, education, and language. She studied art at the AKI Academy of Art and Design, and got her Master’s degree from the University of Amsterdam, where she wrote a thesis about curating, politics and innovation.
She is currently teaching Artistic Research at the Bachelor Fine Arts, and tutoring the Exhibition Research Lab (part of the Art Research Programme). Together with Maarten Cornel, they lead Research and Discourse, a mandatory course for the first-year students of all bachelor departments at the KABK.
