Guy Livingston

Viiting tutor

Guy Livingston has performed internationally from Tbilisi to Lincoln Center. His work has been featured in Sports Illustrated, The New York Times, Le Monde, Gramophone, The Wall Street Journal, and BBC Magazine.

Livingston hosts “The Bug”, a musical podcast which is broadcast from a former embassy in The Hague. His sculpture “Quiet Spheres” is currently orbiting earth on the International Space Station.

Livingston holds degrees with honors from Yale University, the New England Conservatory of Music, and the Royal Conservatory of the Netherlands. He has lectured at Princeton University, Harvard University, and the European Space Agency. He is currently writing his dissertation on “Musical and architectural markers for silence” at the University of Leiden (ACPA).
