With the goal of providing a platform for talent, West The Hague and the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (Kabk) have teamed up to create Paradise. Here young artists are given the opportunity to present their work and develop their presentation skills.
Visitors can find Paradise in a historic building along The Hague's canals between the city center and the Schilderswijk neighborhood and a stone's throw from Hollands Spoor station. Other artspaces such as Trixie, 1646, Billytown and Page Not Found are around the corner.
The initiative aims to create an environment where artists can experiment and grow independently
In Paradise, research and experimentation are combined with production and presentation. This venue will feature work in the fields of Graphic Design, Fine Art, Photography and other disciplines that reflect on cultural, social and scientific issues.
In addition to focusing on talent development, Paradise aims to make new connections between cultures, domains and social classes, thus contributing to a diverse and inclusive art landscape.
After a pilot phase in 2024, Paradise will become a structural part of the initiators from 2025.
