Five Hague street artists, including Sophia den Breems (Graphic Design, 2014) with SOGOshow, will create live art on the construction fence of the Binnenhof renovation in March and April. Street artist Beer and Bread will start on Friday 14 March with an Escher-inspired artwork.
The artists will work on the five large white panels in different shapes hanging on the Plein.
The five artists are affiliated with The Hague Street Art, a platform for professional Street Art and Graffiti artists in the Hague region. For Binnenhof Buitenkunst, they are linked to five museums. Based on their impressions in the museums, they will create a work of art, entirely in their own style. - 3 - 7 April: StudioZEPA visited Kunstmuseum Den Haag
The construction fence on the Plein came about at the initiative of the State Property Agency, in consultation with residents and entrepreneurs in the area. The progress of the artworks can be followed regularly via @binnenhofrenovatie on Instagram.
