New group Fine Arts teachers 2018-2019

27 September 2018

Early 2018 we placed an open call for artists to join our team of teachers in the first semester of the academic year 2018-2019. The Fine Arts department was honoured and overwhelmed by the amount of reactions: some 300 artists replied to our call. A committee of mainly Fine Arts students finally selected nine artists and one art historian, who all have a flourishing art practice and will add a fresh perspective to the Fine Arts education at the KABK in the coming months.

The new group of teachers contains a variety of international backgrounds, and are available for private tutorials on a weekly basis, 2nd, 3d and 4th year students can register for these 1-on-1 talks, and reflect on their work.

The teachers are: Hanae Wilke, Puck Verkade, Sara Rajaei, Maja Bekan, Clare Butcher, Marius Lut, Yair Callender, Toon Fibbe, Alex Farrar and Haseeb Ahmed.

These teachers have presented themselves early September and will summarise their experiences and their impression at the end of the semester.
