Studium Generale - Joachim Naudts

Due to personal reasons Marcel Feil won't be able to give his lecture. We are happy to announce that Joachim Naudts, curator and editor of FOMU, museum of photography, Antwerp, Belgium, will give a lecture instead. Marcel Feil will come back later this semester to give his lecture.

Joachim Naudts (BE, °1982) started curating exhibitions on contemporary photography in 2008. He curated over 20 exhibitions for FOMU (museum of photography, Antwerp, Belgium), including The Still Point of the Turning World – Between Film and Photography (2017); Broomberg & Chanarin – Everything was Beautiful and nothing Hurt (2014) and Power! Photos! Freedom! (2013). He’s chief-editor of the FOMU magazines Extra and .tiff. He is board member of the photography research network Scherptediepte – Depth of Field and member of the advisory committee of Kunst In Huis Kunstuitleen. He’s regularly invited as a jury-member, speaker, writer, reviewer, guest curator or guest teacher.

Photos! Freedom! (2013). He’s also chief-editor of the FOMU magazines Extra and .tiff.
