Stroom Invest Week: Public talk about My Practice, My Politics

On Wednesday 20 June a public evening of talks around the theme of the exhibition My Practice, My Politics will take place at Stroom Den Haag.

This public evening of talks combines an introduction of the 9 visiting international curators who are participating in the Stroom Invest Week with a discussion around the theme of the current exhibition at Stroom Den Haag. My Practice, My Politics presents artists who relate to the world through their practice. There is a clear link between their world-views and their artistic work.

  • What is the role of intermediaries (curators, art institutions)?
  • How can an intermediary help the artist to achieve his or her goal?
  • Which role can an intermediary play?

Discussion moderated by Saskia van Stein (als co-curator of the exhibition).

The exhibition My Practice, My Politics was presented earlier this year (17 till 22 April 2018) during the Salone del Mobile in Milan and selected works form this presentation are on view at Stoom Den Haag until 15 July.
