As a platform, the Design Lectorate helps to nurture and disseminate research endeavours by members of the KABK teaching community through various means, including public symposia such as Fault Lines: KABK Research Forum, exhibitions and publications. The content of these public-facing outputs is produced by the Lectorate's Deep Futures Research Group and the Research Club. Additionally the Design Lectorate runs the project Art & Design Research Practices which looks at research methods used at the KABK and its extended community and entails a video interview, a publication and an exhibition.
