We are starting work on a new publication in the KABK Art & Design Research Practices series. With this initiative, we identify and share research methods practiced at KABK that use the tools, approaches, and capacities of art and design to create and surface new knowledge.

If you, or your students, conduct research into and through materials whether they are invented, existing, or modified, please be in touch! If you consider your fingers as key research tools, then please be in touch! If you work with clay, pigment, synthetic spider silk, wood shavings, whatever it is, please be in touch!

There are two ways to submit:

1. Attend the Research Club on 15 September and present a 2-minute pitch;

2. Email us a one-page PDF with a short description of your research focus and some images.

Thanks in advance!
