Zara Roelse (Delft, 1983) is an educator with extensive experience in the cultural sector and in art education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Media & Culture from the University of Amsterdam and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam.
Since 2017, Zara has been the program coordinator of the Master Industrial Design at KABK. Zara also works as a study coach at MID and as a teacher in the academy-wide program Commons for Bachelor students.
As an educator working with participatory methods and principles of co‑creation, Zara guides students through processes of exploration, collaboration and reflection. She encourages students to critically engage with their own work as a way of shaping and deepening their practice.
