Pia Pol (*1985) is Director Business Development at Hatje Cantz Verlag. She travels between Berlin and Amsterdam. Formerly she was publisher and co-director at Valiz, an independent publishing house located in Amsterdam.

She studied English Language & Culture and American Studies at the University of Amsterdam. Her focus is on bottom-up initiatives in cities, urban development, and the public space. Pia also researches the possibilities of digital publishing in all its forms.
