Paul Gangloff

Designer

Paul Gangloff is a graphic designer based in Amsterdam. He works on commissions from artists, authors, friends and institutions, as well as through self-initiated research, workshops, writings, exhibitions and publications.

His published work include Punk: Periodical Collection (on self-publishing, 2012); Type and Characters (on the Type Foundry Amsterdam, 2012); Rules of Hypergraphy (on the Lettrist’s concept of hypergraphy, 2014) and Printing at School (on the radical pedagogy of the Freinet schools, 2017). He has been a student at the ERBA, Valence (FR), and the Gerrit Rietveld Academie (NL) and a researcher at the Jan Van Eyck Academie (NL). He teaches graphic design theory at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie.
