Niels Schrader (1977, Caracas, Venezuela, he/him) studied Communication Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf and at the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam. In his practice, Schrader manifests himself as a conceptual new media designer and typographer. By referring to the inherent duality of communication and by exploring generic translation processes, Schrader’s work focuses on the contemporary conflict of the media that constantly emits higher loads of data output while becoming more and more irrelevant for the recipient.
