Mary Redmond is a Scottish sculptor based in Glasgow. Her installations find their focus in an interplay of the physical aspects of materials, and how they are worked. Everyday building or domestic materials come together in event like formations that offer both surprising beauty and challenging responses to site.

Mary Redmond graduated from Glasgow School of Art MFA in 1998 and is represented by the Modern Institute, Glasgow. She has exhibited widely, taking part in Generation, Glasgow 2014; and with exhibitions at DCA, Dundee; Henry Moore Institute, Leeds; Kunsthal, Oslo; Palm Beach Institute of Contemporary Art; Breeder, Athens; Kiasma, Helsinki, and many other venues.
