Ingrid Grünwald

Coordinator

Ingrid Grünwald is senior coordinator of the Bachelor Graphic Design programme at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK).

Ingrid Grünwald (1967, Almelo, The Netherlands) studied at the Free University in Amsterdam English Language and Literature (propedeutic year) and Free Art Study majoring in American Black Literature - a close reading of Beloved by Toni Morrison.
After working for many years as a faculty secretary at the Academy of Fine Arts (Breitner Academy) at the Amsterdam School of the Arts, she decided to work as a business leader/project leader in the East of Amsterdam at De Kids van Amsterdam Oost and Moving Arts Project. Next to her work as a coordinator for the Bachelor Graphic Design she also works as a freelance MBO-examiner and helps out Graphic Design students with their English conversation and writing skills. (Intercultural) Communication is her expertise.

In 2020 Ingrid started together with Maarten Cornel an event series called The Big Dialogue. From October 2022 Ingrid became a researcher within the Lectorate Artistic Practice/Politics of Knowledge: The Dialogue as a research method to generate new knowledge. In the academic year 2023-2024 Ingrid will stay part of the Politic of Knowledge-research group led by Anke Haarman.
