Frank Bruggeman is an installation artist and designer. He is very interested in the friction between nature and culture, or more concretely in the question how much wilderness is allowed in a highly urbanized society.
His work includes interventions in public space, temporary gardens, exhibition designs centered on the landscape as well as autonomous objects. He works with partners ranging from The New Institute in Rotterdam to fashion designers Viktor&Rolf. He was co-founder and editor of Club Donny, a magazine about the personal experience of nature in the urban environment.
