Antoinette Vonder Mühll

Co-Head of BA Fine Arts

Antoinette Vonder Mühll leads together with Carl Johan Högberg the BA Fine Arts programme since October 1, 2022.

Antoinette has a BA in Design from the University of Art and Design in Geneva and a MA in Museology from the Reinwardt Academy in Amsterdam.

Antoinette has been enthusiastically working in the arts and design since more than 20 years in many different positions from museum exhibition assistant, gallery manager, curating a public space project, artist’s studio director to teaching and coordinating. In all these roles, communication and collaboration were at the core of her activities, together with a strong affinity for art, design and education. Before joining KABK in 2020 as coordinator of the Fine Arts department, Antoinette has worked as coordinator at the Sandberg Institute. She has also been temporary Head of the Jewellery / Linking Bodies Department at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and was Studio Director and Project Manager of the Joseph Kosuth Studio in London from 2012 - 2014.

Her personal work focuses on communication, intertwined with linguistic and historical contexts. Her latest project about the re-interpretation of values, has become a foundation entitled ForIronIGaveGold. The foundation offers children, working in artisan gold mines in Tanzania, a vocational training in a different profession that gives them the chance for a safer and better future.
