EXPOSED was hosted at De Helena, a former school building in the middle of a residential neighbourhood in the city centre of The Hague, making it an inspiring setting for an introduction to the work of a new generation of designers. The scenography of the show and design of the exhibition were guided by Maarten Spruyt (who created exhibitions in Centraal Museum Utrecht, Gemeentemuseum Den Haag and Boijmans van Beuningen Rotterdam).

Visitors to the fashion show were presented with a 200-page publication, providing an in-depth view in the work and identity of the students. The publication was designed by Johannes Verwoerd in collaboration with visual artist and teacher Peter de Potter and all students of the Textile and Fashion department. The Textile & Fashion department is unique due to the combination of two disciplines under one study programme. At the beginning of 2019 Mark van Vorstenbos was appointed head of the department.
